Andreas Trogisch

Andreas Trogisch (born 1959 in Riesa) works as a graphic designer and photographer in Berlin. He has been deeply engaged with the medium of photography since 1982.
Since 2010, he has published his photographs in book form, including ten titles with Peperoni Books. His images have been exhibited in solo and group shows both in Germany and abroad—for instance, at photo festivals in Nantes, Bordeaux, and Arles, and at the Triennial of Photography Hamburg. He has been a member of the German Photographic Academy (Deutsche Fotografische Akademie) since 2014.
In 1989, he was a founding member of the East Berlin graphic design studio “grappa” (renamed “Troppo Design” in 2014); he remains active today as a designer of posters and books, as well as a lecturer and visiting professor at institutions such as the UdK Berlin, the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee, and the German-Chinese Academy of Arts in Hangzhou. Since 2021, he has served as a design lecturer at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin.
